Job Description

Kennedy Jenks is an employee-owned firmproviding engineering and scientific solutions for innovative waterand environmental projects since 1919. We deliver exceptionalservice and highly qualified professional staff to solve the uniquechallenges of public agencies and private industry clients acrossthe United States.
The Senior MarketingCoordinator manages marketing activities and is also responsiblefor directing proposals and interview preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ProposalManagement
Manage larger, morecomplex company pursuits
Lead the marketinggo/no-go process for project opportunities
Development of proposal messaging (written and visual),writing original content, delegating to Marketing Coordinators andAssistants when necessary and monitoring their progress and workquality
Provide initial planning throughdelivery for all aspects related to the proposal process, includingproposal memos, schedules, deadlines, workflow and resourcerequirements
Lead and serve in a qualitycontrol capacity during the preparation and review of proposalmaterials developed by other marketing coordinators
Travel to other offices to provide high-level BD support,as required

Interview andPresentation Management
Providesupport from planning through delivery for all aspects ofinterviews, including PowerPoint slides and presentationboards
Interact directly with outsideconsultants by arranging and coordinating their involvement, andassisting with Value Proposition development
Provide interview coaching
Serve ina quality control capacity during the preparation/review ofinterview and presentation materials developed by other marketingcoordinators

Building / MaintainingClient Relationships
Regularlyschedule and lead client de-brief meetings
Participate in defining and developing specific marketingcampaigns (e.g. satellite producers, attorneys), and champion thoseefforts
Maintain consistent external activityat pre-proposal meetings, represent the firm at conferences andother events, and develop relationships with clients, competitors,and colleagues in the A/E/C industry

Marketing Administration
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Kennedy/Jenksmarkets, clients, capabilities, staff, and primary competitors tosupport the development of pursuit tactics
Facilitate regular strategy sessions and appropriatefollow-up check-ins
Coordinate content for K/Jcommunication tools, including K/J database
Provide support for the development of special events(e.g. conference/outreach attendance) for the region
Support lead tracking and marketing-related strategicdecisions
Demonstrates best practices,including regular, direct communication; proper file storage andsharing; collaborative work ethic; leadership andfacilitation

QUALIFICATIONS
6+years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator in A/E/Cindustry
Strong marketing writing, editing andmarketing research skills
Proven ability tomanage large, complex proposal and interview presentation efforts,by working with Client Directors, Client Team Leaders, and othertechnical staff
Detail-oriented and organized,ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of InDesign, AdobeAcrobat, MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/Outlook/Explorer
Ability to effectively communicate with seniormanagement, supervisors, peers and clients, internally andexternally
Strong knowledge and understandingof marketing and business development strategies and tactics, aswell as a solid comprehension of the industry
Ability to work effectively with team, as well asindependently motivated with minimal supervision
