Job Description

Media Planner/Buyer JDTitle: Senior Media PlannerReports to:Director of Paid MediaFLSA Status: Exempt

We are looking for a Senior Media Planner/Buyer to be a key member of our Performance Marketing team. Reporting to the Paid Media Director, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies by researching, negotiating, planning and purchasing media across all platforms, including digital and traditional.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client-facing role and will thrive in a fast-paced and highly creative environment; able to work in a group setting as well as independently. This position requires that candidates also be comfortable researching trends, analyzing data, as well as negotiating rates and rectifying all invoices/billing clients, and trafficking work.

Responsibilities
Research relevant advertising placements and publishers for our clientsBecome familiar with our clients brands and industry trendsBe responsible for planning and execution of all media for our clientsRegular analysis of advertising performance against clients KPIsMake recommendations / provide insights to clients on their campaign performance Communicate with clients and implement ad hoc requests
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in media and/or combined media and advertising.Digitally savvy with a working knowledge of self-serve DSP platforms, reporting and project management software.Knowledge of research and tools such as comScore , Kantar and VividataStrong national and local offline planning experience, international experience is a plus.Track record managing client relationships and working with cross-functional teams.Strong quantitative skills, including analytical and story-telling ability.Ability to effectively utilize media and consumer research and reporting resourcesProven experience developing persuasive presentations.An innovative self-starter - able to identify opportunities and make them happen.Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or other related concentration preferred.
