About Senior Pastor

What does a Senior Pastor do?

We as Senior Pastors are tasked with guiding Christians in our churches their daily life of prayer and holistic leadership and management of our churches facilities, resources and religious doctrines. We are also tasked with coordination and supervision of new and existing projects for the success and wellbeing of our churches’ welfare. During weekdays, we provide spiritual counselling to individual members of the church as well as visiting those with special needs including the sick in hospitals and at their homes. We are also responsible for the church's financial accountability and distributing church duties other pastors under our church.

Core tasks:

  • overseeing spiritual matters and church ceremonies
  • tracking the progress of our church towards its vision
  • training, supervising and acting as role models to junior pastors
  • leading proclamation of the Word of God.
