Will require interaction with the corporate accounting group as well as other business groups within the organization.Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility.Essential Job Functions/Tasks:1. Prepares the corporate/ shareholder income tax compliance.2. Prepares ASC 740(FAS 109)& FIN 48.3. Assists with the research and development of credit projects.4. Prepares quarterly income tax estimates.5. Assists with preparation and responses to various tax agencies and audits.6. Collaborates with other departments, as needed to effectively understand accounts which are tax sensitive and determine related tax treatment.7. Updates tax processes and controls.8. Manages projects to reduce the company’s worldwide effective tax rate and current tax liability.9. Reviews and oversees various local tax returns.10. Performs and documents tax research on various federal and state tax issues.11. Recommends alternative tax treatments to alleviate or reduce tax burden.12. MS Tax or CPA a plus.Experience Required:Minimum of two years public accounting with a strong compliance background. Experience with closely held businesses and individual taxation. Familiarity with FIN 48 and ASC 740.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):KSA #1: Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.KSA #2: Proficient use and knowledge of computer applications.KSA #3: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.KSA #4: Strong written and verbal communication skills.KSA #5: Strong relationship builder, proactive and able to identify opportunities.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Preferred:Experience with CCH Axcess tax software, Prosystem fx Engagement/Workpaper Manager Software, CCH Intelliconnect research software, and BNA tax planning software a plus.Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP software a plus.Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus.Physical Demands:Finger dexterity sufficient to use a calculator, to perform data entry into a computer and to complete paperwork activities.Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Intermittent standing to use office machines.
