About Senior Tax Associate

What does a Senior Tax Associate do?

Our major duty as Senior Tax Associates is to support the Tax Manager or Associate Director in managing tax assignments such as planning, performing and reviewing tax compliance work. To fulfill this role, we work closely with the Tax Assistant Associate to ensure the timely completion of tax work. We are also responsible for preparing tax or GST returns for larger entities or groups, preparing transfer pricing documentation, and assisting in tax dispute resolution. As Senior Tax Associates, we are dedicated to developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. We fully utilize our keen mathematical and statistical skills to perform tax office duties optimally.

Core tasks:

  • assist the Tax Manager in carrying out tax office duties
  • prepare tax returns for businesses
  • proficiently utilize accounting software (e.g. Intuit QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office softwares (especially Excel)
