About Senior Vice President of Operations

What does a Senior Vice President of Operations do?

As Senior Vice Presidents of Operations, we manage the daily operational procedures of a company. Our specific tasks may vary, but our main duty is to ensure that company operations are working within the laws, company goals, and the corporate mission. We are the key actors in monitoring operational success by making high-level organizational decisions. We set business goals and ensure employee compliance with company policies. We report to the CEO and supervise managers and VPs to ensure employee relations. What we also do is to promote cooperation between the lower-level employees and the CEO. As Senior Vice Presidents of Operations, we oversee the hiring and firing processes and employee reviews. On a daily basis, we track and evaluate operating performance and make sure company policies are followed.
