About SEO Specialist

What does a SEO Specialist do?

As SEO Specialists, also known as SEO Managers, we are responsible for delivering Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Online Reputation Management (ORM), and Content Marketing campaigns. Our aim is to boost the ranking of a platform, attracting traffic and generating more revenue. Thus, we have a key responsibility in maintaining brand loyalty. We mainly focus on blog posts and the content strategy of a blog, but we also create strategies for social media captions. So we research and leverage SEO tools to create SEO-friendly content. As using the appropriate keywords in a text increases ranking, we master keyword research tools and techniques. Some of them include on-page optimization, Google Analytics setup, and more. We monitor web analysis and administer search engine software. With the help of these tools, we perform SEO Analysis. Accordingly, monitoring trends and competitor activity are two of the most important duties of ours. Also, some of us contribute to linkbuilding campaigns, analyzing user engagement. We know how to entertain, engage, and educate customers.

Regarding the team, we collaborate with the marketing department and report to the Marketing Director, Brand Director, or other senior management. Some of us liaise with Social Media Coaches, Business Coaches, and other experts.

Core tasks:

  • writing articles and posts
  • delivering editorial tasks
  • conducting content audits
  • analyzing consumer needs
  • producing SEO blog posts in WordPress or similar platforms
  • optimizing texts after the drafts have been written

  • managing editorial schedules

  • building style guides that represent the brand’s vision and mission
