What does a Shipping Clerk do?

As Shipping Clerks, we search for any discrepancy before shipping any merchandise by comparing the purchase order with the invoice and packaging list. We also manually inspect the deliveries to ensure that each one matches the order and invoice criteria to maximize the customers’ satisfaction by avoiding any dispute or refund request. We receive and sign delivery orders in accordance with the company’s protocols and guidelines.

Core tasks:

  • assist with the loading and unloading of trucks
  • process returns for any unsatisfactory item
  • update the inventory with received items as required
