About Shop Foreman

What does a Shop Foreman do?

As Shop Foremans, we are responsible for overseeing the employees' daily activities to ensure execution of work as per plans and provided guidelines. We create employee work schedules. We make sure that all manufacturing equipment works properly. Making repairs and ensuring the safety of both the working environment and the employees who use it is also a part of our duty. We keep meticulous records of maintenance and repair schedules. Working as Shop Foremans, we are responsible for monitoring the production machinery's efficiency and promptly addressing issues. We prepare a list of equipment and review it with the service manager as needed. Finally, we spot-check repairs to ensure quality.
