What does a Shop Manager do?

As Shop Managers, we promote real growth within the shop. We motivate and supervise partners in daily shop operations. We listen and communicate with partners, district staff, and senior management. We initiate honest conversations with partners while anticipating potential issues and finding solutions. We manage and monitor the performance of the team.

Core tasks:

  • creating, managing, and inspecting work orders
  • prioritizing the work activities of all staff members
  • providing training as needed to have workers be up-to-date with the latest technology
  • hiring, mentoring, and coaching fresh staff to enhance their skill levels
  • performing skilled higher-level repair
