Job Description
Intel's Silicon Photonics Product Division is seeking an experienced Photonic Integrated Circuit Technical Lead to drive the development of our LiDAR chip product.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Defining and driving overall SiPh integrated chip development plan
Owning overall test chip execution and coordination including chip design, layout and tape-out, test and validation, data analysis and performance debug, reliability qualification, and known-good-die delivery
Identifying development risks and risk mitigation strategies
Driving improvement initiatives to meet product cost and yield targets
Relentless focus on quality as well as on-schedule execution
Willing to plan and drive complex, multi-disciplinary projects to success
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, great team player
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement:
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in designing, taping out, fabricating, and testing silicon photonic devices.
3+ years of experience in semiconductor device physics, including lasers, modulators, photodetectors and passive devices..
2+ years of experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams in development of innovative optoelectronic components.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
