Snowshoe Mountain is a resort located in Snowshoe, West Virginia, United States. The ski resort has skiable terrain across 243 acres and covers around 11000 acres in the Allegheny Mountains, a part of the huge Appalachian Mountain Range. The resort opened for skiing in 1974. Thomas Brigham discovered the mountain and assumed it would be a perfect location to build a new ski resort. Snowshoe Mountain has wide mountain biking trails, a golf course, wedding, and convention areas, and it also hosts a Grand National Cross Country Racing event every year. About 400000 skiers visit the resort each year from the larger cities of the southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and West Virginia. In 1990, the Tokyo Tower Development Company purchased the snowshoe mountain. The resorts' passionate team enhances its customers' vacation experience with its broad knowledge of Snowshoe. Snowshoe Mountain provides different types of discounts and 401k to its employees.
