SOC Analyst

As SOC Analysts, we perform security monitoring and incident response of cybersecurity events as part of a highly available security operation center. We provide analysis and trending of security of log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices. We detect incidents through proactive analysis of security-relevant data sets.

Core tasks:

• managing security incident during all stages of the incident management process
• evaluating escalated security alerts from senior SOC analysts
• assessing security and business risk associated with a security incident
• providing guidance and training for the SOC analysts and senior SOC analysts
• developing and maintaining incident response plans and contributing to the enhancement of the incident detection
