About Social Studies Teacher

What does a Social Studies Teacher do?

We, social studies teachers, instruct and guide the students on social concepts. We teach students regarding the history, geography, languages, cultures, and other social aspects of the world. As social studies teachers, we use globes and maps to make it easy for the students to learn about the world. In addition to these tasks, we organize activities that are related to social aspects. Preparing class material, grading homework, and conducting exams are also our responsibilities.

Core tasks:

  • teaching economics, geography, civics, and history to the students
  • ensuring that the students are learning the concepts well
  • keeping an eye on the performance of students
