What does a Special Education Teacher do?

As special education teachers, we assist and teach the kids and adults with some mental or physical disabilities. We plan and implement the methods of teaching that can be used to teach special students. Also, we help and assist the students in daily life tasks. We ensure that the students are comfortable with the environment. We organize simple and effective activities for the students and encourage them to participate in them. Ensuring that the students are physically fit and active is also our responsibility.

Core tasks:

  • making the disabled students independent
  • motivating the students to participate in different activities
  • monitoring the behavior and progress of the students
