Claims Specialist
Orlando, FL - December 14, 2021
Vacation, sick is all under one PTO. If you call out after PTO (2 weeks total) is used automatic write ups. Writes would escalate one on top of the other.
If you have a disability you are required to use PTO to seek your doctors and around your schedule. No such thing as coming in later or early. Your work time is set, period.
I have witnessed altering call entries to the point where the healthy person next to a FMLA protected person got calls at different volumes. Healthy person could have a call every 15 minutes while FMLA protected person had a call the moment they hung up with a client. I guess their way of forcing the sick person/persons with disability to “make up” for lost work time.
This job is discriminatory against those who are sick or have a disability that would required certain time off. They are not diverse as they claim.
Also, when I was there no one in a wheelchair worked there or could work there since you were required to manually open the doors.
Pros and Cons
The pay was okay but I heard they did a pay drop to increase management pay. I got 15.75/bilingual
No right to life outside of work unless on a 2 week vacation or your days off. Can’t get sick.
