Optaros by MRM is looking for a Sr. Associate, Business Development & Alliances to join our growing team. The Business Development & Alliances Associate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Partnerships and Alliances team with a primary focus on the management and enablement of existing alliances.
The Sr. Associate, Business Development & Alliances main objectives include revenue generation through supporting net new business opportunities, contribution to pipeline growth by supporting marketing, conferences and outreach and supporting continues relationships with ecosystem partners. This role reports to the Channel Partner Manager.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Drive sales and marketing relationships with each partner
Drive joint marketing initiatives with internal sales and marketing teams
Coordinate with the Optaros and partner sales teams regarding joint opportunities, this may include pipeline and forecast reviews
Educate partners on Optaros capabilities and success stories to help stimulate partner-based lead referrals
Plan, market, coordinate and execute partner marketing and lead generation events
Coordinate marketing content calendar
Develop channel marketing materials with support from the team (whitepapers, email campaigns, social media posts)
Support Channel Partner Manager to
Serve as internal trusted advisor to Partners, ensuring internal product management, and managing access to early release programs and product roadmaps by coordinating necessary meetings with stakeholders and organizing documentation/materials
Work closely with internal trainers and content development teams to improve content and delivery for educational programs
Plan and organize platforms demos
Work with the assigned third party partner managers to identify, prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to demonstrate Optaros value prop as a trusted systems integrator.
2-3 years professional experience
Ability to communicate effectively across teams with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented and organized
High energy level and ability to work independently.
25 percent travel may be required.

Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
