Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Director of Member Experience to lead and scale a member experience strategy informed by expertise and insights with a commitment to member behavior and satisfaction. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders in Member Acquisition, Technology, and Operations to foster a member centric environment to increase active users and member retention. It is important that this person be capable of driving change that results in quantifiable member outcomes and can execute initiatives in a global operational environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proficiency in member retention strategy, UX design, and data analytics. Teamwork, flexibility, and communication are of the highest importance. This individual is expected to communicate member growth and retention plans effectively to management as well as simplify complex operational challenges that advance our Member Experience strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fully own member experience to increase active user base and member retention. Lead and scale a global team driving product development and innovation.
  • Execute research and data analysis to support organizational strategies and tactics including member segmentation, user journey insights, incentive modeling, and program value proposition.
  • Establish new data points and comprehensive reporting to inform strategic direction advancing our member productivity metrics. Manage performance against targets and implement solutions in response to team's trend and opportunity analyses.
  • Spearhead innovative member monetization flows to drive member loyalty and satisfaction. Deploy a member segmentation strategy to expand CRM capabilities focused on retaining high value audiences.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong Product Management track record in high volume, high pressure environment. Proven results in delivery on product capabilities.
  • Strong business and technical acumen from a consumer internet standpoint.
  • Proficient knowledge of email stack, including 3rd party email monitoring tools
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), organizational, and intrapersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including people development/coaching, objective setting and measurement skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage a large, diverse set of to-do's.
  • Future oriented, creates breakthrough strategies, anticipates future trends
  • Demonstrates competence in key areas of management and leadership expertise including; relationship management, communication, staff direction and motivation, financial planning and control, quality management, risk management, and the achievement of targets.
  • Ability to analyze data and problem solve.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in mid to senior level management roles within Digital Media, Product Management, DTC Marketing, Loyalty Programs
  • Market Research and/or Member Loyalty background a plus.
