Responsibilities Job Purpose:Assist in managing all financial aspects of both NBC Network & Studio Development, including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow
Assist in managing all Entertainment Programming P&L and Cash Flow, including Primetime, Late Night, Daytime & All Night
Responsibilities include forecasting (LRP, Budgets, Estimates & Closes), analysis, modeling, oversight of payments and intercompany transfers
Responsible for coordinating & reporting weekly, monthly & quarterly pacing as well as quarterly close process
Own day to day maintenance and modeling of Universal Television development overall deals, including forecasting & managing write-offs as well as recoupments against productions.
Spearhead projects within the group to drive automated, systemic solutions to current manual processes, including management of term deals and workflow approvals
Manage, identify and highlight business risks and opportunities throughout the quarter
Work closely with Senior level executives in Finance, Business Affairs, Production & Creative
Liaison with Entertainment Business Affairs, 3rd party packagers, Universal Television, internal & external auditors & Network/Studio FP&A
Ensure strong controllership, including owning account reconciliations and BS/CF analysis
Prepare and participate in presentations for senior management
The Senior Finance Manager will report to the VP of Programming Finance and will assist the VP in financial oversight of $1. 8B across Current and Development Programming, including Primetime Scripted & Reality, Late Night, Daytime, Studio Overall Deals and Development projects. This position will have responsibilities across the entire portfolio with an emphasis on Development.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills required organized, accurate & detail-oriented
Must have excellent PC skills with proficiency in Excel (Powerpoint preferred but not required)
Knowledge of SAP General Ledger preferred; VISTA experience is a plus
