Amazon s North America Expansion team is looking for a data-driven leader, willing to think big and invent & simplify, as we continue to experiment with innovative ways to scale our growth in Canada and Mexico. As the Leader for the Supplier Acceleration Program, you will have an opportunity to work with Amazon s newest and fastest growing marketplaces, to help develop local e-commerce and delight customers with the expansion of Amazon s world-class selection. You will have an opportunity to influence and partner with business, operations, and technology teams across the business to drive a new Amazon initiative aimed at tailoring business growth opportunities to help our Vendors and Sellers grow their business in Canada/Mexico. This is a highly visible cross-functional role that interacts regularly with senior leaders across several teams and requires thought leadership in shaping sustainable growth strategies. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Developing the vision and strategy for a new Amazon initiative aimed at accelerating business growth for our Vendor and Seller communities in Canada and Mexico Collaborating with tech partners to define and implement automated solutions that scale Gathering and analyzing data to uncover opportunities to further improve the experience Driving thought leadership, leading cross-functional projects, and owning the communication to senior leaders on highly strategic initiatives
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) 7+ years of experience working in consulting, retail, or technology industry Demonstrated examples of leadership and ability to influence others Experience developing, launching, and managing projects Ability to analyze and propose data-driven solutions; proficiency in Excel (SQL experience preferred) Ability to prioritize effectively to manage multiple, changing priorities Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems - in particular, identifying customer/vendor needs and inventing new and efficient ways to meet those needs
