Essential duties include but are not limited to: 1. Prepares general ledger entries and reconciles various accounts 2. Responsible for accounts payable 3. Responsible for fixed assets and associated depreciation schedules 4. Responsible for record keeping of other assets 5. Responsible for payroll processing 6. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of prepaids 7. Responsible for audits of general ledger tickets and cashiers checks 8. Responsible for assistance with annual financial and internal audits 9. Assists with monthly closing entries 10. Completes special projects as requested 11. Provide backup for deposit reclassification and FR2900 report preparation 12. Provide backup for board and ALCO reporting 13. Provide backup for daily cash settlement Education and Skill Requirements: 1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. 2. At least one year of financial accounting or accounts payable experience is preferred. 3. A solid knowledge of basic accounting principles is required. 4. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. 5. Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numerical data. 6. Must be a quick learner, multi-tasker, and detail oriented. 7. Must have sound judgment and decision making skills, be a team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
