About Staff Attorney

What does a Staff Attorney do?

As Staff Attorneys, we use our legal expertise to help deal with daily legal issues with which the firm needs regular assistance. We negotiate settlements with pro litigants and oppose counsel leveraging procedural position and create solutions to achieve resolutions. We defend state agencies in civil tort litigation with importance on personal injury defense, including medical malpractice.

Core tasks:

  • preparing pleadings, drafting briefs, conducting depositions
  • defending tort litigation claims alleging violation of civil rights, personal injury, and property damage cases
  • preparing and submitting offers in compromise to IRS
  • managing medical malpractice caseload of retiring plaintiff's attorney
  • acquiring practical experience in numerous legal areas, including consumer fraud, bankruptcy, family foreclosure, and public entitlements
