About Staff Mechanical Engineer

What does a Staff Mechanical Engineer do?

As Staff Mechanical Engineers, we work to research, design, implement, and administer engineering projects for a company. We work as a lead to our team throughout the plan and design phases of a project. With our teams, we assess the customer’s needs, investigate and finally design appropriate way-outs. Then, we perform relevant testing, including stress and fracture testing. Assisting in project implementation is also our duty. We also provide support to fellow engineers and customers. Preparing the documentation, and fill in the design with modifications is our less frequent responsibility.

Core tasks:

  • performing engineering activities including development, design, and testing mechanical equipment
  • collaborating with cross-departmental and multi-functional design teams.
  • writing handbooks, technical reports, and bulletins for the aid of staff
  • leading project management from the initial stage to final product implementation
