About Staff Tax Accountant

What does a Staff Tax Accountant do?

As Staff Tax Accountants, we provide support and preparation on multiple tax projects in order to provide quality tax services for our clients. We work for a variety of organizations and prepare income tax returns. Our duties includes writing financial reports, handling bookkeeping tasks, analyzing budgets, completing forms, discussing financial matters with clients, and devising tax strategies to reduce the amount of tax payments. Due to the nature of our profession, we serve in several technical capacities in order to coordinate with peers, managers and clients to ensure timely, quality delivery of both simple and complex tax projects.

Core tasks:

  • prepare various tax returns
  • conduct basic tax research and correspondences
  • prepare support services for tax planning and preparation
  • ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
