Stanford IT has some of the finest talent in the Bay Area, and upper management might even notice them for the good that they bring to the organization. Unfortunately, middle management has other ideas and does everything it can to maintain control rather than support the talent they fought so hard to hire and train.

Pros and Cons
Higher Education setting
Micromanagement, Siloed approach due to structural organization
