Nebraska is a state in the Midwestern locale of the United States. It is lined by Iowa toward the east, South Dakota toward the north; and Missouri toward the southeast. Native people groups, including Missouria, Omaha, Ponca, Otoe, Pawnee, & different parts of the Lakota (Sioux) clans, lived in the district for millennia before the European invasion. The state is crossed by numerous noteworthy paths, including that of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Nebraska's region is a little more than 77,220 square miles (200,000 km2) with a populace of over 1.9 million. Its capital is Lincoln, and its biggest city is Omaha, which is on the Missouri River.
