Strategic Alliance Manager - Seattle/Bellevue

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Alliance Manager to nurture and develop our top tier of ReadyApp partners to deliver referral revenue and drive customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving the business and technical success of partners that extend our capabilities, expand our reach and create greater stickiness for our solutions. In order to thrive as a Strategic Alliance Manager, you'll need to be a strong team player that enjoys getting things done but doesn't mind asking for help. You are a consummate professional and effective communicator. You don't mind dealing with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities and are able to soak up new technologies at a rapid pace. Some travel to partner events or conferences and to our San Francisco HQ will be required. Probably not more than 20%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage a small portfolio of strategic solutions partners to achieve revenue-based goals and other metrics.

  • Run "rhythm of the business" with each partner, including annual business planning, quarterly business reviews and executive updates.

  • Manage day-to-day activities, taking advantage of short-term opportunities when they pop up, and putting our fires as needed.

  • Build and execute joint marketing with each partner based on a strong combined value proposition, tailored to the sales and marketing motions that are most effective.

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and become a subject matter expert on the SaaS solutions provided by your partners.

  • Advocate on behalf of FinancialForce within your partners, seeking ways to extend our solutions, increase our market reach and better serve our customers.

  • Advocate on behalf of your partners within FinancialForce, driving internal awareness and engagement by collaborating with development, marketing and the field.

  • Drive partner sponsorship and participation in FinancialForce events

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Passion and commitment for partnerships is critical for success

  • Demonstrable & proven experience as an Alliance or Business Development Manager in an enterprise business applications and/or SaaS applications company

  • Understanding of the ERP solutions market is a plus, as is experience in global financials and/or professional services automation

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced & highly collaborative organization

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Experience working in an agile, data-driven environment

  • Self-motivated / self-directed - capable of multi-tasking and accepting change both in tasks and schedule

  • Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem and the Force.com platform is helpful
