Stratford School is a high school in Forest Gate, London, Newham, England. It is located on the Upton Lane (A114). Close to the west is the Newham College of Higher Education. Stratford Grammar School, Upton Lane, was established in 1906. The original intake of 369 included students from two facilities established by the school board in 1894 and provided permanent structures in Russell Road and Water Street. It became a systematic sixth form of entry in 1972. The school formally became an institution on 1 August 2011. GCSE findings are slightly above normal. When the school relocated to the recently built Upton Lane site in 1958, an owl statue was installed near the main entrance. The owl has been known to represent knowledge. Every year the group has color-coded patches.
