The company is great with benefits and all, but the pay is not enough for all the miles that I drove every day.

Company rushed into the market without doing research. Misinforming us how everything worked, had us misleading people. Very much about the money. Awful company to work for.

Pros and Cons
Somewhat flexible schedule, really need to work weekends/evenings to make money
Very demanding for a 1099 position, not really right to have requirements like they do

I have had a 5 year career at Sunrun. I could say half the time i really did enjoy. the other half was filled with corporate bs, Un-accountiblity, lack of communication. This is a great place to learn the trade but screwing customers over and false promises don't sit right with me. Avoid at all cost with experience

Pros and Cons
Benifits and pay
Terrible Leadership, Corporate always changing SOP's and you will always be the fall guy

I worked there 4-5 month. I was a good experience for the most part. I was a fast learner, well liked, hard working employee, who was constantly put in leadership positions. I was also asked to lead a crew to the Denver location, to help that branch get caught up on quota. That was a success and I returned back to the Sugarland location to continue work. A few weeks later my supervisor called me to the office and informed me that corporate sent him instructions to severe my employment from the company do to things on my background. They gave me a severance package, and that was the end.

Pros and Cons
Friendly people, plenty work hours, treated employees well.
Background search was not a good reason to fire an upstanding employee with minor non violent charg

They really dont care about their employees. Unless you are part of the corporate management team. They also dont care about the customers. They know most wont have the resources to sue them, so they just ignore their employees issues and their customer issues. They paid me on jobs 1/2 up front and then due to lack of ability to get my customers installed with a 6 months (which is bad in itself) many cancelled. Also some jobs they apporved through our operations processes and then decided at install, no we cant do it. I jad to repay $25k in 2018 due to their lack of ability to do their part, tbeir job. So instead of making the other half of the $25k i had to oay it back. I paid bills and fed my family with this money. When I tried to prevent this from happening. No one cared. They did nothing. I know several customer and former employees who did have the resouces to sue them. They truly are horrible.

Pros and Cons
There is no Pro. All CONS! they will screw you and your customers over
They dont care about their employees unless you are in the corporate office
