About Supervising Producer

What does a Supervising Producer do?

As Supervising Producers, we work closely with writers, directors, casting directors, department keys, and the production office. We oversee finances, create budgets, and scheduling. We manage all the plans to proceed into actual production. We supervise one or more producers in the performance of some of their producer functions. We are responsible for coordinating the creative director and brand promotion. We oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns. We handle the tasks of managing and overseeing the creative teams on a per-project basis. We oversee activities like graphic integration, video editing, and music design. We coordinate workflow between freelancers and producers with the in-house design team.

Core tasks:

  • establish and define production planning process with the show Producers or Production Managers
  • help deliver on the creative vision of the series
  • advice on budgets and monitor financial reports
  • evaluate scripts to assess and assign the cost of creative production
  • implement the production resources to support the project
