About Supplier Manager

What does a Supplier Manager do?

As Supplier Managers, we directly collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to create effective supply chain strategies. We analyze data from shipping and delivering processes showcasing bottlenecks and other issues to find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes. We monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly by maintaining supply chain inventory and records and developing and implementing safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain to meet legal requirements and standards.

Core tasks:

  • evaluate and report on KPIs
  • create coordinated plans for business growth by collaborating with other departments
  • negotiate with suppliers and vendors to get profitable deals
