About Support Staff

What does a Support Staff do?

As supports staff, we are tasked with assisting the staff of an institution to run their operations efficiently and help other members of staff to fill out their roles adequately. We provide administrative support to members of staff, schedule appointments, reply to emails, and answer calls. It is our responsibility to schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and make travel arrangements. We provide administrative assistance needed such as submitting paperwork, reviewing tasks, gathering data, welcoming customers, directing visitors, maintaining files, and inputting data. We also organize workflows in the organizations where we work to ensure the smooth running of activities and tasks.
