We, survey crew chiefs, are supposed to assist various staff members in successfully completing their assignments or the task at hand. We supervise and organize all of the ongoing activities amidst the crew members, and make sure the duties are being promptly allotted to everyone. It is our duty to act as an observer at the construction site to ensure everything is going smoothly. We have to travel to a myriad of different job sites to effectively do our work in every type of weather.
