About Systems Design Engineer

What does a Systems Design Engineer do?

As Systems Design Engineers, we facilitate the cooperation between architects, plumping engineers, structure engineers, and HVAC engineers. We also lead the PCB design effort, including component layout/placement, handling of critical nets, and test issues, including PCB scan by performing signal routing on small PCB with FPGA to better understand the layout process. We analyze the project’s HVAC equipment requirements to select suitable HVAC products for proper operation according to specific design requirements and use SolidWorks for the design of mechanical components and system assemblies.

Core tasks:

  • manage the system’s installations, setup, configurations, security, and monitoring
  • produce drawings of systems, components, and interfaces using Altium
  • ensure the correct reporting of data by using Microsoft SQL server reporting services
