About Systems Support Specialist

What does a Systems Support Specialist do?

As System Support Specialists, we deliver technical support and help desk assistance in a company. We work to resolve all types of issues that cause trouble to end-users. Few of our operation areas include network breakdowns, software and hardware issues, and failures. We are tasked with the responsibility of creating and managing user accounts. We cross-functionally work with several teams to minimize the errors and problems in software, tools, and equipment. Providing tech support, installing configuring, and testing software is what we do. We monitor the whole implementation of both software and hardware and report to the management.

Core tasks:

  • provide tech support
  • perform defensive repairs on hardware systems and network tools
  • troubleshoot hardware issues and find solutions
  • install and upgrade software and operating systems
