I was a team member for Border Foods Taco Bell over by fleet farm and some of the Late night Cashier's responsibilities were as follows: Dishwashing Taking the order and cashing them out by yourself Cleaning Lobby and Bathrooms within 30 minutes Sweeping and mopping the kitchen area Lobby garbage And keeping the back cleaned by the garbage cart The down side is that if you are taking longer to clean the lobby regardless if core window is coming up or not a couple of other employees will keep asking what is taking so long to clean and unlike at other restaurant facilities they won't ask if you need help or even offer to help you get some of ur tasks done and if you ask them to help, they just gonna look at you as if u r speaking in a different language and that is my honest and truthful answer

Worked here for over a year simply because it was the only reasonable job within walking distance of my house. There was always a problem with the shift and everything was pushed onto the Shift Managers from the management above. Particularly, the General Manager was mildly racist, narcissistic, and would often leave 2 hours into their SALARIED 8-hour shift and go to the casino. I could hear them when they would call and nit-pick details from the very audible slot machine seats. Administrative duties were always half-hearted and people often worked in positions with responsibilities not reflecting their hourly pay rate. They weren't interested in fixing these issues unless people made a huge deal and sometimes not until they refused to work without the proper pay. Terrible experience, entirely based upon nepotism and who they knew to continue not performing their duties correctly. Constantly told by employees there for 5+ years that it had always been so.

Pros and Cons
A free meal per shift.
Bad food safety, mismanagement of employees, self-serving management, no proper break system

Discrimination was a huge problem. They, also, did not mind your availability requests and/or days you requested off, even if you requested a day off 1+ months in advance. Management would push you to your limit. I worked 92+ hours in a pay period while attending high school, which i was fine with at first. However, when I requested a day off, a month in advance, so I could study for finals, they told me that I had to show up or lose my job. I had never called in, never was late, and never got written up and they threatened my job.

Pros and Cons
Most coworkers are enjoyable to be around.
Discriminatory, judgmental, no consistency.

I have worked at Taco Bell in Kansas and then I worked at Taco Bell in Albuquerque the one in Kansas was my very first job and I really enjoyed it we were like a family there always joking having fun it was great the pay at the time was different than it is now I was asked if I wanted to be a manager I wasn't ready for that since I was still in high school and where I'm located now it was definitely the same environment it may not be like that for everywhere but for my experience I really enjoyed working at Taco Bell it was family environment recognition was given when you've done great but it did have its challenges like being short-staffed or lunches dinner rushes and not having the adequate employees made it a little challenging I also was offered a manager job the pay is a little better than most places from my experience so maybe experience based customers always come back pros are based off my experiences may not be other tacobells

Pros and Cons
Friendly, recognition, birthdays, holidays

I have High Functioning Autism Syndrome and they think I don’t handle stress very well. However, I don’t like to be judged by my challenges. I can do anything anybody else can do and I just want a chance. I live with my 86 year old Grandma and I need to save for when I have to live on my own when she passes. I can do anything as long as I have the right amount of training & help.

The company will give you the worst hours possible, expect you to work extra shifts. God forbid you ever get sick, you call in and they will make you close a week straight as a punishment. Give the good shifts to everyone else but you because of your younger age. Not a fair work place, nor is it healthy for anyone.

So it was actually really good for a few months it wasn’t until the general manager started dating one of the shift leads that everything went down hill. Basically she got back on drugs and ended up quitting and then we got a new GM who decided to cut almost everyone’s hours and I went from making $1000 dollars checks to only like $100 which I could not live off of she then preceded to hire her friends who did not know how to do anything and hired a guy I knew who was also a friend of hers and was also drinking constantly on the job until he was fired and then we got a new guy named mike ( yes I’m saying his name because people should be able to look out for him) he decided that it was ok to sexually harass all of our female workers including one of my friends and she actually got the worst of it and when her boyfriend finally decided to say something the shift lead and GM decided to give her no choice but to quit because they wouldn’t fire him and kept letting him work with her so ya

They pay really well at Taco Bell, it’s almost not worth all the drama that comes along with the job. No one at this Taco Bell gets promoted unless you are directly related to the general manager. Managers will talk badly about you right in front of you, in front of customers and everyone. 0/10 do not recommend.

Eager to work at one of the most famous fast food establishments, Taco Bell for sure had a place in my hear and my belly. As a costumer, it was always a wonderful environment and experience to be served and observe the crew. Once an employee, I realized what really meant to work at a fast food establishment. The fast pace, the multitasking were things that I expected to face but that wasn't all that awaited my shift. The restaurant's goals were very high, made me want work harder to accomplish them. With that being said, with high goals there is even higher stress and Taco Bell wins the scale of stressfulness. I've never seen more stressed and hungry people such as these employees.

Over all was a great place for grown. When I came to company values it wasn’t the best. Allowed employees with no company value to grow and become recognized within the company while those with lots of company value would be unrecognized. Complaints of sexual harassment regarding one male employee was given a blind eye on multiple occasions. The General manager is a great person to work under. Besides when it comes to him disregarding those who shouldn’t be there in regards to employment desperation.

Pros and Cons
Free meal. Family like team.
Allowing employees to harass female employees

One of my favorite fast food places to work. Especially the location I was at. Motivated Team members. All the love and support you could ask for.

Pros and Cons
You don't have to over work yourself. It's pretty easy.

The people were not friendly, the district supervisor accused me of doing drugs and fired me then in the same day called me back. The work is ridiculous. The pay is stupid low and the insurance is craxy high. I worked 60 hrs a week and my bring home for 2 weeks was only 800.00 It crew and shift leaders would threaten you and my supervisor would not do anything about it

So i was never one for fast food as a teen, but becoming a shift lead was a fulfilling position, i opened my own store every morning and from there smooth sailing each day from inventory to prep, to save and drawer counts, my favorite was learning the strengths of my employees to maximize the services we provided

Pros and Cons
Free meal, great pay, easy work
Some heavy lifting, and a very fast paced environment

I have worked at Taco Bell since I was 16. I actually enjoy working in this job area. However sometimes your hard work isn’t recognized or they overwork you because the higher person doesn’t want to work

Pros and Cons
Discounts, friendly staff, improve social skills and customer service area
No breaks, sometimes you get over worked, too much is relied on 1 person sometimes

the hours are long and you are on your feet the whole time. also when working drive thru you must also do dishes so you are constantly running back and forth from the front of store to the dish pit.... the company was ok, but the new management they brought into the store i worked at was a young kid that was rude, inconsiderate and disprespectful. i ended up opening my own cleaning business after this job

Pros and Cons
people i worked with
bad management

At the Taco Bell I worked at, we were constantly understaffed and underpaid. The majority of the staff were minorities and those who weren't were paid more. My hours were cut and I ended up quitting because it turns out the general manager had cut my hours to get more payment in her check before she had also quit.

Pros and Cons
Discount food
poor management and under staffed

When I started working for them I was just a cashier and with the hours I needed to work so I could be home with our kids after school the store managers offered me a slot in the company as their cleaning captain so I could keep my day time shift and be home with the kids. They also offered it to me as I was always cleaning the dining area and soda machine so customers could walk into a nice clean eating establishment.

Pros and Cons
1/2 off your meals
work hours could be different every week
