PRIMARY PURPOSE

Provides system administration and operational support for Parkland’s Talent Management Systems.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

-Must have a Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Experience:

-Must have two years of experience with Talent/Learning Management System administration. Prefer experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or HealthStream.

-Must have one year of experience providing technical support for Talent/Learning Management Systems

-Must be proficient in data analytics

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

-None

Skills or Special Abilities:

-Must be able to develop an understanding of the subject matter addressed by the Talent Management system such as learning, development, performance, goal management, onboarding, succession planning and competencies.

-Must be organized and be able to multi-task in order to carry out system administration duties.

-Must have good customer service skills.

-Must have good time management and priority setting skills.

-Must have technical understanding of Talent/Learning Management Systems

-Must be proficient in operating systems including Windows, etc.

-Must have knowledge of report development and data analytics

-Must have knowledge of cloud technology and internet application architecture.

-Must possess advanced skills with word processing and charting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, etc.

-Must be able to develop procedural and technical documentation in support of Talent/Learning Management Systems.

-Must be able to quickly learn new technologies and applications.

Tasks

  • Collect fees, commissions, or other payments, according to contract terms.
  • Confer with clients to develop strategies for their careers, and to explain actions taken on their behalf.
  • Develop contacts with individuals and organizations, and apply effective strategies and techniques to ensure their clients' success.
  • Schedule promotional or performance engagements for clients.
  • Negotiate with managers, promoters, union officials, and other persons regarding clients' contractual rights and obligations.
  • Keep informed of industry trends and deals.
  • Manage business and financial affairs for clients, such as arranging travel and lodging, selling tickets, and directing marketing and advertising activities.
  • Conduct auditions or interviews to evaluate potential clients.
  • Arrange meetings concerning issues involving their clients.
  • Prepare periodic accounting statements for clients.
  • Advise clients on financial and legal matters such as investments and taxes.
  • Obtain information about or inspect performance facilities, equipment, and accommodations to ensure that they meet specifications.
  • Hire trainers or coaches to advise clients on performance matters such as training techniques or performance presentations.

  • Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
  • English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Fine Arts - Knowledge of the theory and techniques required to compose, produce, and perform works of music, dance, visual arts, drama, and sculpture.
  • Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
