1. Introduction

2.1.1.4. Technical Data: login data, Device IDs, IP address, access dates and times, browser type and version, device information, cookie data, time zone setting, location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.

2.1.1.5. Usage Data: how you use the Site and the services (analytics of user behavior).

2.1.2. User Content: content that you post or submit on blogs, groups, communities and other similar forums and surfaces on our Site.

2.2. We may also collect, use and transfer to third parties non-personal (aggregated) data such as statistical data for any purposes, but non-personal data does not directly or indirectly reveal the identity of user.

3. When and How data is collected

3.1. User Data is collected, when you visit and use the Site (including but not limited to browsing, filling out forms, responding to surveys, applying for jobs, participating in games, clicking on buttons), or by corresponding with us by post, phone, e-mail or otherwise.

We use the data that we collect internally in particular to provide our services to you including for example to create your account, allow you to view, respond to, and save job postings, allow employers or prospective employers to respond to your job posting responses, allow you to post and share your resume on our services, provide you with job recommendations based upon your history or preferences, and to respond to your enquiries and communicate with you, to carry out our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us, to notify you about changes to our services, for our own research purposes, in order to better understand our customers and their preferences and to improve the services that we offer, to operate the Site and manage your registration. We use automated data collection tools in particular to keep track of your session and advertising delivery, to remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site, to provide custom, personalized content and information, to monitor the effectiveness of our services, to monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns, to diagnose or fix technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with certain IP addresses.

4.2 The use of your User Data includes among others that some of your User Data (including in particular your photo) may be publicly available at the Site, especially of participate in groups or communities on the Site. These third parties include in particular, employers, recruiters and other job boards whom we need to communicate your User Data in order to provide you our services or complete your co-registration; our marketing partners to provide you with additional job opportunities per email; our service providers that we engage to enable or improve our services to you (such as companies providing hosting, platform maintenance, risk assessments, and security, data and web analytics, IT, customer, email , advertising, billing, credit card processing and other services); as well as any other third party without any limitation. As an exception from the above general rule, we forward your data to Applicant Tracking Systems (so-called ATS) only upon your request, engaging us to register your data in the ATS. We may continue to store and use every User Data that we forward to third parties.

4.4. Third parties that receive User Data that we collect may store and use it for their internal purposes and may also share it with other entities. If you provide us your Contact Information (including your mobile phone number), we, or third parties that receive it, may contact you with unsolicited job postings, carrier developments opportunities or without limitation, any other information or offer by e-mails, text messages or other means. If you wish us to cease contacting you, please opt out of receiving such messages mail in your profile settings available on the Site. If you wish any third parties to cease contacting you, you must request them directly, and we cannot guarantee that they will comply with your request.

4.5. We do not control how third parties store, use and further share your User Data, accordingly, we will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contract, the law of torts or otherwise) for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss; or for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data which may result from the storage, use and further share of your User Data by such third parties. In particular, once you provided User Data to us, it cannot be excluded that persons, whom you otherwise would not share such data (e.g. your current employer) will have access to it. Should you request us to delete your User Data, we cannot contact and request third parties whom your data was already forwarded to delete your User Data.

4.6. We may display links and adds of external websites on our Site, including third party job postings and advertisements. These other websites have their own privacy policies and data collection, use and disclosure practices. Lensa does not control and is not responsible for the use of information that is submitted to or collected by such other websites. You should contact the operator of these websites, directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

4.7. Law enforcement agencies, courts, supervisory authorities, regulatory bodies and certain other third-parties, to the extent that we are permitted or required to do so by law, or in order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, or in the interests of national security, or to respond to verified requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity

4.8. We partner with Meta and Google to identify and deliver targeted advertisements to individuals who have similar characteristics to those in our existing customer base (“Lookalike Audiences”). To do this, we share with Meta and/or Google, in hashed form, personal identifiers (name, email address, telephone number, city and state) from our existing customer base, as well as online user activity occurring within the Service such as Google/Meta Ad click ID (“Custom Audiences”). Meta and Google feed this information through their proprietary algorithms, match the hashed data with their respective user databases to identify a set of relevant Lookalike Audiences, depending on the types of information provided. 5. Declining to provide and correcting Personal Data

5.1. You may, decline to submit Personal Data through our services, in which case we may not be able to provide certain services to you.

5.2. You may update, delete inaccuracies, or correct your account information and email preferences at any time by logging in to your account. In other cases, you can request that we update, correct or delete inaccuracies from your Personal Data that we store by sending an email to [email protected].

5.3. We do not control and are not responsible for updating, correcting or deleting inaccuracies from your Personal Data that third parties store, irrespective of whether such third party collected your Personal Date from you when you use our site or in in HTML-based emails or received it from us. requests to update, correct or delete inaccuracies from your Personal Data that third parties store should be addressed to such third party directly.

6. Ceasing and refraining from using User Data

7.1. We use automated processes and third-party aggregators to collect and display information that has been created by third parties, for example employers, recruiters, so we cannot verify the accuracy or legitimacy of all job postings displayed on our site. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution when providing information about yourself to others online, including when you apply for jobs found on Lensa. Never provide your social security number, credit card information, bank account details, or unnecessary personal information to a potential employer. Never participate in a financial transaction of any sort with a potential employer. Always be cautious of opportunities that sound too good to be true or require you to act as a financial intermediary, particularly for an overseas person.

7.2. We have implemented technology and security features, as well as internal guidelines, designed to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorized access or improper use. We will continue to endeavor to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

7.3. Our Site is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18 years. We dos not knowingly collect or solicit User Data from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register to use our Website. In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Data of a child under the age of 13, we will delete that data to the extent required by applicable law as quickly as possible.
