As Teaching Assistants, we are responsible for supervising students, preparing lesson material, and developing new lesson plans. We coordinate with the lead teacher to identify learning weaknesses in students that are affecting their academic performance. We are also responsible for documenting students’ progress, grades, attendance, and participation to their families. We supervise students during non-classroom times such as during lunch, in-between classes, and on-field excursions, ensuring that no injury occurs while strictly following state and school regulations.
