About Teaching Fellow

What does a Teaching Fellow do?

As Teaching Fellows, we are responsible for supporting the teaching objectives by delivering lectures through allocated seminars and other undergraduate and postgraduate teaching forums. We collaborate with the lead teacher on lesson planning. We assist students in small groups by reinforcing learning concepts. Monitoring student engagement during lessons and applying refocusing strategies is also a part of our duty. We combine discussion projects and cooperative work to engage students. Working as Teaching Fellows, we are responsible for following the school's policies and procedures for student behavior and discipline. We develop our teaching materials and approaches. Finally, we build a classroom that is engaging and provides an optimal learning experience.
