Essential Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to the Mobile Patrol Officers, residents and Patrol clients at all times
Supervise the Mobile Patrol Officers on the assigned shift and assist other Mobile Patrol Team Leaders when necessary
Assist in training new Mobile Patrol Officers
Point of contact for Mobile Patrol Officers when they have questions on process or procedure
Assist when Mobile Patrol Officers need guidance on the day to day duties of the job
Follow “Patrol Post Orders” and ensure Mobile Patrol Officers follow those orders
Operate safety equipment, e.g., fire extinguisher, panic button, arm and disarm alarm systems, etc..
Document performance issues and communicate to the Mobile Patrol Manager.
Proper and timely completion of Incident Reports
Proper and timely completion of all other forms associated with patrol
Prepare and submit necessary information/data for monthly reports
Responsible for scheduling and shift planning for their assigned patrol location;
Assist other mobile patrol team leaders
Knowledge and Skills: 2 years of uniformed patrol security experience required
2 years of Security Supervisory experience recommended
Education and Certifications: High school diploma or GED
Licensed as required by A.R.S. 32-2622
Valid Arizona Drivers’ License and satisfactory 39 month driving record
Possess exceptional customer service and telephonic skills
Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task
Proficient computer skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements: Ability to stoop, bend or lean several times during a scheduled work shift
Ability to stand for two (2) or more hours uninterrupted
Ability to walk on sloped surfaces with various surfaces while maintaining balance and footing in all areas within and adjacent to the gatehouse
Ability to enter and exit the gatehouse traversing steps or curbs numerous times during a scheduled work shift
Ability to safely sit on a chair or stool in an upright position and rise unassisted numerous times during a scheduled work shift
Ability to hold a portable computer or clipboard while walking on various surfaces or entering / exiting the gatehouse
Ability to safely lift and carry 40 pounds for up to 40 feet
