As Technical Editors, we edit, proofread and revise technical information written by technical writers. We examine grammar, punctuation, clarity and structure of technical content. We collaborate with technical staff and researchers to ensure the accuracy of documents. We set goals, format, structure and aims of writing for technical writers and ensure these goals are met. We consider the various levels of drafting and editing the content before it is published to maintain quality assurance.
