Purpose:

As a Technical Lead you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed for our clients. Working in a team environment you will work with offsite and in-house developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional/technical requirements, and subsequently into design.

The incumbent works as part of a team across all disciplines in the firm to exceed client expectations and to identify opportunities to grow client relationship.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimating, developing, testing, managing projects, architecture and delivery.

• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to our team, offsite partners and our clients. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.

• Provide team code review and technical oversight, manage project tasks, track schedules and timelines.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

  Special Considerations: The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer; out of town and overnight travel may be required periodically; non-traditional work hours may be required periodically.

  TechQualifications:

• Passionate coders with 5-8 years of web development experience, specifically using PHP.
• Experience with developing eCommerce websites.
• Experience with Magento strongly preferred.
• Client facing or consulting experience essential.
• Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
• Future technology leaders- dynamic individuals energized by fast paced personal and professional growth.
• Phenomenal communicator who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
• Bachelor s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
