About Technical Support Engineer

What does a Technical Support Engineer do?

As Technical Support Engineers, we install and configure computer systems, we solve technical problems, and we troubleshoot hardware/software faults. We serve as a primary liaison between an organization and its clients. As Technical Support Engineer, we are tasked with working with internal groups such as support, product management, sales engineering and consulting. As Technical Support Engineers, we can either work on-site or via our phones. We are tasked with the responsibilities of resolving network issues and configuring operating systems.

Core tasks:

  • preparation of accurate reports in a timely manner
  • tracking and management of work records
  • we help in solving customers' problems
  • communicate with customers to know their needs and see how we can provide solutions
  • prioritizing and evaluating customers support cases
