About Technologist

What does a Technologist do?

As Technologists in the health sector, we perform clerical tasks and basic medical care such as checking patients in and out, cleaning the equipment in the hospital, transporting patients, assisting patients, and take vital signals. We work in hospitals and other health facilities with doctors, physicians, and nurses to ensure that their services are offered all day, all week. Working on these medical facilities with medical personnel enables us to report to them thus making the doctors’ work simple as they do not always have to be present to carry out all functions.

Core tasks:

  • monitor vital signs
  • Clean equipment after use
  • perform clerical duties *transport patients within the hospital
