Wells Fargo Auto/Dealer Services has a position available as a Technology Manager 3 - Value Stream Technology Leader that will have end-to-end view and ownership of the products within their domain and will be primarily responsible for product increments development, delivery and support.
In this role, the Technology Manager will provide overall direction and guidance to specialists, engineers/developers, quality assurance engineers and business systems analysts and is responsible for driving software development across multiple agile teams and phases to ensure execution of project work plans. They determine Technology priorities, build a technology roadmap and ensures software development & data management objectives are met. The value stream leader works closely with the Value stream business owner/council to build a groomed backlog of business and technology priorities in accordance to well defined strategic roadmap for that value stream. This role requires an individual with a strategic mindset, strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of technology, architecture (n-tiered and microservices) and agile principles to be successful. In this role you will be a critical link between strategic business planning and ground level execution. Prior experience in a regulated financial services environment is a nice to have but not a must.
Other responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for effective and timely development of new and/or enhanced systems/technologies.
Monitoring all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle and application ownership.
Ensureing high level technical support is provided
Working closely with Business leaders, other IT managers, and management to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology to improve business processes.
Preparing business cases, including financial analyses and evaluations of potential new technologies/systems/applications based on company strategic needs and resource availability.
Oversees business analysis, development work and quality assurance of projects for assigned systems/technologies.
Contributes to the development of information technology development standards, policies, processes and procedures to ensure consistent compatibility and integration.
Continuously reviews the technology needs of supported business functions/processes relative to new technological developments and trends. Keeps abreast of the industry and emerging technology
Leads and manages team to accomplish objectives through effective recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management and rewards & recognition.
