About Teller

What does a Teller do?

As Tellers, we are tasked with performing and administering routine bank telling tasks, including withdrawals, deposits, transfers, receiving loan payments, and cashing checks within the bank’s database. We also work with bankers to open and close a variety of types of accounts while processing address or phone changes and collect security box rental fees as required. We maintain and balance the cash drawer daily by coordinating with AP and AR departments to account for any cash received, assigned, and disbursed.

Core tasks:

  • stay up-to-date with the latest laws and regulations
  • ensure strong customer and client interactions to build referrals
  • educate the clients on good risk management decisions
