About Teller Supervisor

What does a Teller Supervisor do?

Working as Teller Supervisors, we supervise a teller staff to deliver a positive client experience. We are responsible for maintaining the branch's operational integrity. Providing guidance to tellers and Consumer Banking Representatives (CBRs) with client transactions is our duty. We assist in balancing daily settlements and meeting client's needs. We are responsible for the vault functions and operational duties. Managing the day-to-day teller operations is a part of our job. We also ensure quality customer service. We perform teller functions and handle any complex customer concerns. It is our responsibility to ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to customers.

Core tasks:

  • ensure that the complete training of tellers
  • ensure the availability of information about other bank products and services to the customers
  • provide other banking departments with cross-sales and referrals
  • perform supervisory responsibilities of the teller line
  • coordinate scheduling and hiring of tellers
  • responsible for new teller training
