David Lynch Foundation has multiple centres in Washington, New York and Los Angeles from where the organization strives to teach Transcendental Meditation (TM) to anyone who wants to learn the technique. The foundation was founded in 2005 for conscious-based education and a peaceful world. Earlier the foundation reached out to children to help them learn and practice meditation, and now it has expanded further to reach out to adults as well. The foundation endeavours to touch as many lives as possible for changing the world for good. The mission of the foundation is to help people find relief who have been dealing with traumatic situations, have been the victims of violence or other stressful situations and toxic stress prevailing in the community. Job opportunities are open for people who can connect with the at-risk population, guide them into the need for education of TM. Other opportunities are for counsellors, therapists and assistant staff.
