The Family Institute at Northwestern University is an organization of mental health care and family-based behavioral health. This organization was founded in 1969 and headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, the United States. The other centers are based in Northbrook, Chicago, and Westchester. It is a non-profit organization. The President/CEO is Jana L. Jones. Since 1965, it has been in cooperation with the Northwestern University's Graduate school of teaching and research Center for Applied Psychological and Family Studies. The Family Institute is focused on reinforcing and mending social medical problems and psychological well-being issues. They serve kids, teenagers, families, and people through their different coordinated treatment and projects. They offer services in psychology, clinical services, counseling, LGBT services, neuropsychological assessments, and therapy services.
